Today, February 22, 2022, it has been exactly 1 year since we moved into Manoir le Cosquer. What an adventure it was. We’ve been through a lot in this first year, when everything was new for us.

After a thorough cleaning of 3 months, we opened our doors for rental in the Whitsun weekend of 2021. This weekend was also our try-out. We immediately had our first guests: a family reunion. Following many family reunions, groups of friends, cousins’ weekends, bachelor parties, birthdays, we even had a wedding on our property.

In short, our first year will go down in the books as a successful start.

Next year looks very promising again. The summer holidays are almost completely full. In the spring and autumn, many birthdays, family reunions and groups of friends are on the agenda. We are looking forward to it.

May 2^nd, 2021 – almost done

After two months of hard work, we finally see end approaching. We are confident that we can open up the manor for public as of the weekend of Pentecost, 21-24 Mai 2021.

February 22^nd, 2021 – acquisition

We are very excited and proud to be the owners of the Manoir Le Cosquer! For us it is a dream come true.

Let’s interduce us briefly: we are Maurice and Claire Wismeyer, before we moved to Pommerit-le-Vicomte we lived in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Maurice is originally from the Netherlands and Claire is French.

Since the day of arrival, the manoir needed a lot of tender love and care to say the least. So we have been very busy cleaning and fixing up the place. Luckily, we have had a lot of help from Claire’s parents, who happen to live in Brittany as well.
